You don’t need to ski to enjoy winter in Pila. Strap on a pair of snowshoes and walk through the silence of snow-covered forests, along waymarked routes that suit complete beginners too.
Waymarked routes and guided outings
The easiest routes include Pila – Lo Baoutson, Pila – Grimod and the walk down to Ozein along a snow-covered forest road. Throughout the season Pila’s local guides run guided snowshoe hikes at sunset, by night and up to Alpe Grivel (1,910 m); snowshoes and poles are provided if you don’t have your own.
