The Stella di Pila in winter
At 2,700 metres, the highest point to ski down from
In just 15 minutes the new Pila–Couis gondola whisks you up to the Stella di Pila, at 2,700 metres. From here the view takes in the Alpine giants above 4,000 metres – Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and the Grivola – in a panorama that stretches across the entire Alps.
Ski down or stay up high
For intermediate and advanced skiers, the Stella is the highest starting point in Pila: click into your skis and head down facing a view you won’t forget. Yet the Stella is an experience open to everyone, including guests with disabilities: you can ride up and down by gondola and, between one view and the next, the Panoramic Bistrot serves traditional Aosta Valley dishes with a modern twist.
